Josh Young

Background and Education

Josh graduated from Buckhannon-Upshur High School in 2010 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Concord University in 2014, specializing in Finance and Management. He later completed the IBEW Inside Wireman Apprenticeship Program through the Clarksburg Electrical JATC, where he was honored as an “Outstanding Apprentice” for his exceptional skills and leadership potential, and shortly after obtained his Master's license.

Josh has worked on diverse and challenging projects, including renovations at JW Ruby Hospital, wireless network installations at WVU Women’s and Children’s Hospital, and the development of renewable energy facilities like solar farms. He has also worked on projects at various gas processing plants, wastewater treatment facilities, and schools. His work is distinguished by precision, safety, and a commitment to exceeding client expectations.

In 2019, Josh expanded his professional portfolio by founding J&S Reliable Home Inspections, LLC, offering high-quality home inspection services across the region. He also serves as an instructor at the Clarksburg Electrical JATC, teaching apprentices essential skills in electrical theory, conduit fabrication, and code compliance.

Josh’s dedication to his craft and community has been evident in his service on the Concord University Alumni Association Board, IBEW Local 596 Executive Board and his numerous awards, including the Clarksburg JATC Outstanding Apprentice Award (2023) and Concord University’s Student Employee of the Year (2013).

Dave Spevock

Dave was born and raised in Fairmont, West Virginia. He spent his teenage years working for his dad, Dave, owner of Quality Contracting Company, based out of Fairmont. He has a wide variety of construction experience including framing, plumbing, flooring, trim carpentry, concrete work, and more. In 2017, Dave joined IBEW Local 596 and completed the apprenticeship in 2022. Shortly after becoming a journeyman wireman, he obtained his Master Electrician's and contractor's licenses.
